Current research

My current work investigates human relationships to environments through our intertwined connections to fungi. Over recent years I have extensively researched and explored the relatively unchartered territory of the mycological kingdom through a variety of mediums and approaches. Interested in the role of these microorganisms and their evolution to date, as well as our future thinking;

And questions how funga can help us create new understanding that help us repair our distorted relationship to waste, decay and renewal and other associated biological processes.

This work is ongoing and includes research trips to the Herbarium to work witht he Cryptogam collections at the National Botanic Gardens in Dublin and other partners and is kindly supported by the Arts Council.
